David McEntire's Obituary
David G. McEntire, 54, of Broken Arrow, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2016. A memorial service will be held at 12:30 PM, on Friday, December 23, 2016, at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel, in Broken Arrow, OK. He was born on June 28, 1962, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the son of Vernon and Earlene (Stanley) McEntire. He attended East Central High School, graduating with the class of 1980. On April 7, 1984, he married the love of his life, Sondra Hinnen, in Tulsa, and they shared 32 wonderful years together as man and wife. He enjoyed watching Thunder Basketball, the Dallas Cowboys, and especially the Oklahoma Sooners with his son, Jordan. David loved to cook/grill, being outdoors, and listening to music in his outdoor backyard “oasis”. He loved traveling and cruising with his wife and friends especially to the beach with Negril, Jamaica being his favorite destination. He is survived by his wife, Sondra, son, Jordan McEntire, and his fiance’, Natalie, of Tulsa, sister in law, Rhonda McEntire, of Tulsa, in laws, James and Lynda Marion, of Tulsa, and Ron and Diane Hinnen, of Apache Junction, Arizona, and other extended family members, and friends, especially David & Tracy Crow and Scott & Wendy Matson. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Alan McEntire, and fur babies, Rio and Rosie. Memorial donations may be made in David’s name to The American Cancer Society.
