I havent seen him for years but wanted to send my condolences to the famuly..I always enjoyed him when we were growing up as young kids in the neighborhood. We have not been in close touch for many years, but we were saddened to hear of David's illness and death. Please know that we are thinking of you and adding our prayers to service today.
OMG Correction— David Lee was the oldest of the Gaynier/Murphy cousins, of which, 15 of us grew up in Texas together. Sorry Michigan cousins. Didn't mean to imply that any of you were older.
What can I say. David Lee was the oldest of the 15 cousins down here in Dallas. Our lives were so intertwined growing up. I always looked up to him and when he moved to Oklahoma, I made it a point to get to his Mom's when he would come into town. There are so very many happy happy memories involving him and the rest of the boys. Loved going to their house as a kid cause there were no girls in their family and they treated me like a little princess. Remember that he always wore a black stetson and I thought he was so handsome in that hat. I am truly blessed to have had him in my family. Even though we didn't talk as often as I would have liked I knew I could always call him and enjoy a long and pleasant conversation full of much teasing and many many laughs. He had such a wonderful sense of humor and love of life. Love you David Lee and will miss you so very much.
Family and Friends of Murphy, he will be missed! We worked with Dave many years while he was with Kirby Smith, had many laughs and shared many memories. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Ms. Jean and Family.
I have nothing but fond memories of David Lee.He was larger than life to me as a kid growing up in Dallas.Lisa Gaynier and I had a silly game with a mouse we tormented him with but he was a good sport about it. My prayers and thoughts are with his family. God Bless,Melissa Quirk
I did not know Mr. Murphy, but I know his daughter Deborah and appreciate the influence he has had in her life. I send my sincerest sympathies at the loss of your loved one.
