David Edward Patrick's Obituary
David Edward Patrick of Dawson, age 67, left us too soon on September the 14th 2018. His heart could no longer contain the immense love he had for his family, friends and the City of Tulsa. David was born April 22, 1951 to Claude Edward Patrick Jr. and Ava Marie Gleason Patrick. He was the youngest of 3 children, along with siblings Synna Lee and Carl Michael. He graduated Will Rogers High School and ran the successful family business Patrick’s Auto Service in Dawson for 50 years. He married the love of his life, Mary Ann Dannette Skidmore, on February 7, 1970. They have had 48 years of blissful marriage. He has 2 children David Jason Patrick, age 47, a Tulsa Firefighter and Crista Caye Patrick, age 44, a professor at the University of Tulsa. Jason is married to his wife Lisa and they have 3 children David Clifton, Kyler Jason and Madison Jade. David Clifton is married to his wife Julie and they have 2 children Ridley and Fable. Crista is married to her husband Ragnar Crowson and she has 1 daughter Luna Kaeleen Wolfe.David was the longest running City Council Official in the City of Tulsa with nine terms served on behalf of District 3. He was known for his quiet common sense and his respect for all people. He will be severely missed by his wife, 2 children, 4 grandchildren and 2 great -grandchildren and the countless people who called him brother, father, hero, mentor and friend.Services will be held in his honor at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel, 6500 S. 129th E Ave. in Broken Arrow on Thursday,September 20th at 10 am. with graveside to follow. Visitation is open to the public after 11:30 am Wednesday the 19th, with family being present 5 till 7pm.Seating is limited.
