David Ray Vanscoy, age 84, passed away July 22, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital after an extended illness. He was born in Spring Creek, Arkansas on March 3, 1931. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Doris Jean Vanscoy, son, David Vanscoy & wife, Joan, daughter, Debra Odom & husband, Mark, daughter, Karen Teague & husband, Mark, son, Steven Vanscoy & wife, Julie, daughter, Shari Keim & husband, Danny, sister, Anna Marie Walden (husband, Ernest, deceased), sister Jania Breashears & husband, Don, twelve grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. David was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin Glen and Letitia Vanscoy, brother and sister in law, Alvin and Edith Vanscoy, sister and brother in law Nadine and Glen Townzen, sister Georgia Mae Rock & husband, John and brother, Dennis Vanscoy and wife Wanda. Family will receive friends from 5pm to 8 pm Saturday, July 25, 2015Funeral services will be 12:30 pm Monday, July 27, 2015 at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma followed by internment in Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
