David Lee Thomas' Obituary
David Lee Thomas, a beloved member of the Tulsa community, passed away on February 8, 2024. David was born December 23, 1956, in Tulsa, OK to William Dean Thomas and Velma Jean (Goode) Thomas. David married the love of his life Tami Walker on May 9, 1997, in Eureka Springs and together the two spent many wonderful years together sharing memories and laughs.
David was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and found great joy in serving others. His skillful nature and passion for fixing things earned him the reputation of being a real handyman; he was always the first-person people called upon when something needed to be repaired. His daughter Donna affectionately referred to him as "The Man," a testament to his exceptional abilities and unwavering reliability.
David had an innate talent for disassembling and reassembling items, and he approached each task with enthusiasm and skill. His warm and welcoming nature meant that he never met a stranger, and he formed meaningful connections with everyone he encountered. In addition to his passion for fixing things, David also had a love for motorcycles and embraced the freedom of the open road.
David will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of kindness, generosity, and expertise will live on in the hearts of those whose lives he touched. May he rest in peace, knowing that his spirit and impact will endure for years to come.
David is survived by his loving wife Tami, son James Thomas, daughter Donna Thomas, sister Denisa Clark, nephew Eric Clark.

Visitation will be held Sunday, February 11, 2024 from 2-5 PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints (1701 N Hickory Ave, Broken Arrow, OK 74012)
Interment will follow Floral Haven Memorial Gardens at 11:30 AM
