David Scott Tilley's Obituary
On June 16, 2023, David Scott Tilley, doting father, lover of Jesus and University of Oklahoma Graduate, age 51 of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed from this life into the arms of his heavenly Father.
David was born February 19, 1972, in Elkhart, Indiana, to Phillip Tilley and Luci (Gerhard) Tilley.
During David’s 51 years of life, he touched the lives of so many with his charm, outgoing personality, and his gentle spirit. He was also well known as a mega Oklahoma Sooners fan and lived his life to the fullest.
He leaves us with cherished memories and a profound impact on those fortunate enough to have known him. David's presence here on earth will be deeply missed, but his spirit and the legacy he leaves behind will forever be held in our hearts.
David will be deeply missed by his precious children and the family he loved so much.
His Children: Avery, Faith, and Jakob Tilley; His mother: Luci Tilley; His sisters: Gina and Kristy Tilley.
His best friends: Chad and Candace Garrison of Talala.
He also loved his many nieces and nephews and his thousands of friends.
David is preceded in death by his father: Phillip Tilley
We would like to take this opportunity to honor the people who forever changed David's remaining time on earth, Bo and Jodi Buchanan. They became a part of our family this past year and a half after saving David's life. They are our and David’s true heroes, and we honor them.
Visitation will be held 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM, Sunday, July 02, 2023, at the Floral Haven Funeral Home, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. We welcome you to visit and please sign our guest book.
The celebration of David’s life will be held 12:30 PM, Monday, July 03, 2023, at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. For those who cannot make it, we understand and ask that you keep us in your prayers at this time as we grieve this huge loss that heaven gained.
