David Treesh's Obituary
David Gene Treesh, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, passed away on February 16, 2021.
David was born in Goshen, Indiana on May 4, 1948, to Grover and Lucille Treesh. He was a proud veteran, serving in the Navy from November 1, 1966 to January 30, 1968 during the Vietnam war.
After his service to our country, David became a truck driver, a career which he loved. He moved his family to Texas and then to Oklahoma, where they settled. David loved his family most of all, and enjoyed spending time with his daughters Dawn and April, his grandchildren Eric, Summer, Jonny, Jessica, Heather, Joshua, and Tyler, and his great-grandchildren Flynnigan, Ethan, and Jackson. His hobbies included NASCAR and putting puzzles together.
David was a wonderful Daddy and Papa, and a generous man who was always there for those whom he loved. He will be greatly missed, but we take great comfort in knowing that he is now with his Lord and Savior, and we will see him again someday.
Services will be held Wednesday, March 3 at 11:00am at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Catoosa. A full military burial will follow at 2:00pm at the Fort Gibson National Cemetery.
