David Aaron Wheeler's Obituary
DAVID AARON WHEELER David Aaron Wheeler, 39, of Tulsa, OK died suddenly on Friday, May 16, 2014. He was born January 2, 1975 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the son of Carol Ann and the late David Wheeler. He married Sarah Sharp on June 12, 2004. Dave was a graduate of Metro Christian Academy, and received his degree in Business from Oklahoma State University where he was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity. He was a proud fan of OSU, the Dallas Cowboys and the Chicago Cubs. Dave was employed at Bama Pie Company. Dave’s great love was his family – his wife Sarah and their daughters Caroline and Abigail. Also surviving are his grandmother Leona Frakes, mother Carol Ann Wheeler, brother Michael Wheeler, sister Jennifer Conley and her husband Wayne, nephews Cody and Cole Conley, sister Madison Wheeler and numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by grandparents Ray and Alice Wheeler, and grandfather Bernard Frakes, and his father David Ray Wheeler. Dave was a man of solid faith. His strong character was readily apparent with his straightforward approach to every difficult conversation and situation. Dave easily made friends with his smile and his hilarious quick wit. He never met a stranger, and every friend would tell you they loved him. He loved making people smile by telling anecdotes and sharing stories of his adventures. His family is what he cherished the most. He adored his wife, and he doted on his daughters. He also enjoyed playing golf and loved riding motorcycles. A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church, Broken Arrow, at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 20, 2014. In lieu of flowers, an account for the welfare and education of Caroline and Abigail Wheeler has been set up at Chase Bank, 6660 South Sheridan, Tulsa Oklahoma. Donations may be made in care of “Sarah Wheeler Donation Account” at Chase Bank.
