I am so sorry to hear of this loss and her diagnosis. I am glad she did not suffer long from that terrible disease. That is definitely a blessing from God. I worked with Dean the Spring and Summer of 1997 as a temp in the auditing department of accounting at State Farm. Your description of her being fiercely independent and the mention of her laugh brought back fond memories. She was a wonderful lady and I truly enjoyed the friendship that we made. She taught me quite a lot during that time she mentored me. I was not able to keep up with her through the years… life…. She knew me as Regina Johnson initially and she also knew my father Joe Johnson who also worked at State Farm. I know how much she truly loved her family as she spoke about all of you a lot during that time. The twins were born early that year I remember. I just learned of her passing, so I’m not sure if I will be able to pay my respects tomorrow, but my thoughts and prayers are with all of you knowing what a great loss you have suffered. She was an amazing person! May she rest in heavenly peace in suffering no more. With much love, Regina
