There are so many memories to share about Deanna, they are all awesome. I could write a book. Her smile, beaming blue eyes, her laugh, her convictions, so caring, giving, outspoken, most of all her love for the Lord and how she shared with many. Second Mom to my boys and so many other children. She was the best of the best. Never will I have a friend as close as her. So many loved her.
Deanna and I spent time together while our husbands worked with brother Hale building the new church, Garnett Assembly. We four were newlyweds so Deanna and I were construction "widows" together for our first year of marriage, maybe longer.
I'm glad to have known her and called her friend. We have the comfort to know that we will all meet again in Heaven!

Special Memories of growing up together on 7th street, Delores and Deanna drove me around alot, since they had a car!! I remember sleep overs in the storm shelter and a lot of giggles. My heart is sad, but I am rejoicing that she knew the Lord and I have the hope of visiting again some day! So long friend until we meet up again. Marian Pharis Henderson
