DeArta Kay McClure's Obituary
DeArta Kay McClure DeArta Kay McClure left this world on Saturday, August 13, 2011 after a brief battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arleta and Richard Thomason. Born November 18, 1948, DeArta embraced family and friends with all her heart. She is survived by her husband Bob, son Richard Hathcoat, daughter Ginger Chadic and husband Allen, grandchildren Matthew Moss and William and Lacie Chadic, sister Tamra Spence and husband Frank, five stepdaughters and their children and grandchildren, and beloved aunts, uncles and cousins that were such a wonderful part of her life. DeArta was a cowgirl at heart and was proud to serve as Queen of the Broken Arrow Round Up Club when she was younger. She loved going to the lake and was having lots of fun teaching her grandchildren how to water ski. She also loved going to see the bands that her son introduced her to and became an avid fan. She was taken from us much too soon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in DeArta's memory to Cancer Sucks, Inc., www.cancersucks.com, P. O. Box 1091, Bixby, Oklahoma, 74008.
