Deborah Jean Bohot's Obituary
“Deborah “Debby” Bohot left us peacefully to be with our Lord on November 1, 2024, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, at the age of 72. Born on September 27, 1952, in Houston, Texas, she was the beloved daughter of Claude and Margaret Parker.
Debby was a vibrant spirit, known for her warmth, friendliness, and playful sense of humor. She had a unique ability to connect with everyone she met, leaving a lasting impression on all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her compassion and nurturing nature were evident in everything she did, especially in her love for cooking. Her famous homemade pizzas became a family tradition, and she was well known for them.
A true adventurer at heart, she cherished her family vacations to Colorado and the Canadian mountains and found peace and inspiration in their breathtaking landscapes. Her love for the Southwest and its native flute music deeply resonated with her, reflecting her appreciation for culture and beauty.
Always a child at heart, Debby will be remembered not just for her cheerful and sunny disposition but also for the love she shared with her family and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of empathy, kindness, joy, and connection that will continue to inspire those who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her daughter Meredith Misener and husband Chuck, son Robbie Bohot, sister Karen Rolfing, sister Patty Kendrick, brother Charlie Parker, brother Claude Parker, Jr., grandchildren Christian Cothran, whom she affectionately referred to as her “grandboy” and granddaughter, Brooke Misener. Debby will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and loved ones.”
