Deborah Lynn Brown's Obituary
Deborah Lynn Brown, 68, resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away December 3, 2019. Deborah was born July 5, 1951 in Portsmouth, Virginia to James Edward Ross and Norma Jean Hensley (Allen). Deborah devoted her life to caring for children. She was a Special Education Teacher for many years until she retired from The Union School District. Deborah was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.Deborah is preceded in death by her father, James Edward Ross and her mother and stepfather, Norma Jean and Jack Hensley. Deborah is survived by her husband, Henry W. Brown III; son, Erich Hood (Jennifer with child); daughter, Robin Rist (Marvin); son, Cory Hood (Rachel); son, Benjamin J. Hood; daughter, Kelly Staller (Clark); her foster children, Domenique and Antwan DeBois; her grandchildren, JacqueLynn Rist (with child (Aria), Tristen Hood, Keenan Hood, Rheanin Rouse, Jordan Hood, Julien Hood, Ulysses Staller and Ryker Staller; brother, Jim Ross; brother, Edward Allen Ross (Angie) and numerous other family members and friends.Deborah’s family wishes to thank everyone for the kindness they have been shown during this difficult time.In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Humane Society of Tulsa @ https://www.tulsapets.comCelebration of Life Service will be 3:00 pm, Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel
