Deborah Clawson's Obituary
Deborah JoAnne Clawson, 68, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, peacefully passed away on June 10, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma after an extended illness. She was born on April 28, 1955, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, to Jack Jennings Johnson and Evelyn Jewel Fitch.
Deborah was a hardworking and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who devoted her life to her family. She married Daniel Merrill Clawson on January 23, 1976, in Tillicum, Washington. They would spend a couple of years living on an Army base in Wiesbaden, Germany until moving to Killeen, Texas.
She later became a single mother of three, working multiple jobs to care for them. Eventually she would settle in Coweta, Oklahoma and on August 5, 1985, Deborah began working as a machine operator at a small plastic injection molding company, Gavco Plastics, Inc in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. She would be devoted to the company until retiring almost exactly 35 years later August 4, 2020. Her health began to decline months later.
Deborah is survived by her daughter April Renee Clawson, son Michael James Clawson and his wife Arlene, sister Barbara Farar and her husband Joe, grandchildren Gabriel A Osterloh and his significant other Jade C Lorenzo, Paige N Osterloh, Mateo A Segura-Clawson, Summer Perales-Clawson, Rion J Hunt, Tesa M Clawson, Daniel M Clawson, Trinity M Clawson, great-grandchildren Oliver A Lorenzo, Angelo M Woodberry, Isabella J Woodberry and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and loved ones.
Deborah is preceded in death by her husband Daniel M Clawson, son Jonathan A Clawson, brother Ronald E Johnson, father Jack J Johnson, and mother Evelyn J Scott.
Memorial services will be held Friday, June 16th, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home.
