Deborah Lynn Haskins' Obituary
Deborah “Debbie” Lynn Robertson, resident of Jenks, passed away on January 17th, 2021, at the age of 68. Debbie was born October 26th, 1952, to Opal and Bob Robertson of Henryetta. She was preceded in death by Grandparents Buck and Ruby Kerns; Lucy and Fred Robertson; father Bob Robertson and sister Lori Robertson. Debbie is survived by her mother Opal Robertson; husband Richard Haskins; son Jayson Haskins; son Benjamin and his wife Lindsey Haskins; Grandsons, Wyatt, Jaxson and Brody Haskins. She is also survived by her brother Burley Robertson.
Debbie grew up in Northeastern Oklahoma where she would go on to graduate from Nathan Hale High School in 1970. After high school she attended college at NEO in Miami, OK. In 1977 she met the love of her life, Richard “Rick” Haskins, and married him just after 3 months of dating. On July 2nd of 2020 they celebrated 43 years of marriage. Together Debbie and Rick raised their sons Jayson and Benjamin in a home focused on Jesus. Debbie was known for her love of Jesus, being proud of her family, the color purple and her smile. If you ever spoke to her she was always proud to tell you about Jesus and her family. Debbie had a giving heart. She was always willing to devote her time and resources to those in need. She was a bright light in this world and will be remembered for the joy she brought into it. Debbie was welcomed home by our Fathers embrace.
