Deborah Juanita Hayes' Obituary
Deborah Juanita Moore-Hayes, 63 of Tulsa, Oklahoma was called home on June 30, 2013. She was born on January 9, 1950 to the late Pauline Daniels Moore and the late Charles Francis Moore.Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Pearline Moore Davis, and one brother, John Clarence Moore.Deborah professed in Christ at an early age and later became a dedicated member of Higher Dimensions Church. During her 63 life filled years she was a debutante, Kansas City Chief cheerleader, beauty pageant contestant, published authoress, dancer, and teacher.She graduated from John F. Kennedy College in Nebraska with a degree in English. She had a love of language and books. She worked several years as a HR director, but later returned to her original passion-teaching. She worked tirelessly for many years at Memorial High School teaching 10-12 grade English. She sponsored their stomp team and attended every football and basketball game she could.Deborah also served her community by preparing students for college by offering tutoring for the ACT/SAT exams.Deborah leaves to cherish her memories, her devoted husband, John Robert Hayes Jr., Tulsa, Oklahoma, her son, Charles Christopher Hayes, Moore, Oklahoma, her daughter, Varee Danielle (Terrance) Malone, Tulsa, Oklahoma, and one brother, Maurice Moore, Solon, Ohio.She also leaves her beloved grandchildren, Lexus Hayes, John Christopher Hayes, Kiare Hayes, Grayson Malone, Noah Malone, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
