Carol Turner,Rn
I just met Deborah last week as her homehealth RN and was not only "touched" by her pleasant nature, but by her confidence in her Lord Jesus. Medically Deborah has been thru many trials, but it didn't shake her faith…..and she told me she was ready to meet her Lord, her only worry being her children and families—how they would handle her passing. But Deborah KNEW her God would comfort and care for them as God had comforted her and saw her thru all her cancer ordeals. "HE was my hope" She told me she had some friends that asked her "why would God do something like this to you?"…and Deborah retorted "God hasn't done this to me….it's Satan in this worldly life that does such things to shake our faith". Oh that I may have such a strong faith in the face of such trials!! I only had 2 nursing visits with Deborah Keller and despite my desire to see her more to further basque in her faith… I'm comforted that she is with our loving God in heaven feeling no pain and having heard "welcome home my faithful child". I pray that I touched her in some small way….albeit reassurance or a comfort with praising her for her faith, as Deborah sure left a wonderful Christian mark with me. I had NO knowledge that she was church of Christ, but finding that out sure doesn't surprise me….we were sisters in Christ as I attend Park Plaza church of Christ!!! With respect to Deborah and sympathy to her family, Carol Turner, RN St Francis Homehealth
