Deborah "Deb" Jean Wells' Obituary
Deborah “Deb” Wells, a beloved resident of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, passed away on July 16, 2024. She was born in Tulsa to the late Howard Holmes and Betty Bell.
Deb was a devoted wife to her husband Jerry Wells. Together, they shared a lifetime of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Deb was known for her artistic talents, creating beautiful birthday cakes and paintings that brought joy to many. She had a passion for decorating for the holidays, always making her home a warm and welcoming place for family and friends.
Her impeccable organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail were admired by all who knew her. Deb's sense of humor, sweetness, and kindness endeared her to everyone she met. She had a special love for animals and her pets held a special place in her heart. She even taught her dogs to open Christmas presents, a testament to her patience and love.
Deb was an active member of the Tulsa Area Decorative Artists (TADA) where she served as the Treasurer. TADA was a significant part of Deborah's life, allowing her to express her creativity and passion for decorative arts while contributing to the vibrant artistic community in the Tulsa area.
Deb was a woman of faith and a devout Christian. She led prayers during holiday meals, sharing her love for God with those around her. Deborah spoke very highly of her dear friends at the First Baptist Church of Broken Arrow and thoroughly enjoyed her time there.
She and Jerry loved his garden, and her green thumb was evident in her beautiful plants and flowers.
Deb will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
Deb is preceded in death by her husband Jerry Wells, parents, and grandchild Stuart Spencer.
Deb is survived by her step-son Patrick Wells and wife Andrea, bonus daughter Misti Spencer and husband Hurst, step-son Chad Wells and wife Monya, brother Rick Holmes, grandchildren Christopher Moser and wife Leah, Jordan Rowlan, Rachel Holmes, Kaitlin Cagle and husband Rhett, Jackson Spencer, Mckenna Wells, Adyn Spencer, Matthew Grossenheider, Braden Stewart, and Kelly Holmes-Naizer, great-grandchildren Axell Cagle, Vann Cagle, Ameila Flynn, Case Moser, Carter Moser, and Lily Moser along with numerous friends and loved ones.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 24, 2024 from 1:00PM - 2:15PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.
Reception will be held after services at Floral Haven Family Center.
Family and Friends may visit her grave site after the reception at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens- Veteran Phase III
