DEBRA KAY SCOTT
Debra (Deby) Kay Scott, 69, passed from this life on May 7, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born in Carthage, Texas to Edward Scott Jr and Frances Kay (Scott) Fortson.
Deby pursued and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. She enjoyed kayaking, traveling, cooking, sewing, and organic gardening. She strongly cared about protecting the environment and supported several related causes. She had fond memories of attending a summer camp in Minnesota, an adventure she was able to share with her sister.
Deby had a great sense of humor and could light up a room with her raucous laugh. Her Enid High School friends remember her as outgoing and popular. She loved her two kitties, Katy and Adrianna.
She sought comfort and strength in her God. May peace be with her now.
Deby is survived by her sister, two aunts, five nephews and nieces, six cousins, two stepsisters, a step niece and two step nephews, a great step niece and great step nephew, and extended family. She was preceded in death by both parents, her stepfather, her brother, and one aunt.
