Man of GODDee Burns, born 2-11-22 in Bennington, Oklahoma.Father George W. Burns and Mother Etta M. Burns (Farris.Wife Deanna Taylor-Burns.His child Ralph Burns and Stepchildren Taina Evans, Brian Henderson and Deanna Henderson.Preceded in death by: Mother and Father, 3 brothers and 3 sisters. 1 stepdaughter Wendy and a great-granddaughter Amaraha.Grandchildren: Chris & wife Angie, Jennifer, James, Brian Allen & wife Caitlin, DeeDee, Brett and partner Brad, Danielle, Allison, Emily & husband Chance.Great-Grandchildren: 163 nieces: Carolyn & husband Steve, DJ & husband Al, and Mary-Sue. Nephew Bob and wife Cathy.After leaving training in 1942 from Bennington. Dee and his division entered Normandy on D-Day and was part of General Patton’s group from Germany and back to the Battle of the Bulge. When he moved back to Tulsa he worked for Murphy Switch. He married Louise and had his son Ralph. Late in life he married his 2nd wife Doris. 29 years ago, Dee married his current wife Deanna and together they traveled for pleasure and Mission trips in the U.S. and in many other countries.For a little over 20 years he was actively involved w/ Tuesday Morning Miracle Workers at Habitat for Humanity, as well as being an active member at St. Marks United Methodist Church for many years. Once of his most precious past times were spending time with his blended family and Holidays and other special occasions.
