Deleta Donaldson's Obituary
Dorothy Bishop Donaldson of Tulsa passed away Thursday June 20, 2019 at the age of 89. Dorothy was born July 18, 1929 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Oldham and Julia Bishop. Dorothy was married to Thomas Lawton Donaldson and was looking forward to celebrating their seventy fifth anniversary this coming Christmas. They have one child, Nancy, the light of their life. Dorothy attended Washington Elementary, West High and Central High Schools. After graduation she worked as secretary to the mayor of Muskogee, Lyman Beard, until her husband was transferred to Tulsa. She was a career federal employee for the Federal Government. She worked for the Corps of Engineers for a short time and then for the Southwestern Power Administration where she attained the position of ”Assistant To The Administrator”. Dorothy will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
