Delia Foxworth's Obituary
Mrs. Delia Tamondong Foxworth, age 62, passed away on February 6, 2023 at her home in Broken Arrow, OK.
She was born to Emilio M. Tamondong and Natividad (Austria) Tamondong on November 8, 1960 in San Carlos City, Pangasinan, Philippines. She was the oldest daughter of five children, and her early youth was spent living with her loving grandparents. She graduated from San Carlos College in 1979. She met her husband, Christopher Foxworth, a U.S. Airman, on a blind date, and after a whirlwind courtship, they married on November 8, 1981. They were blessed with two children, Candace (Foxworth) Gutierrez and Christopher Jay Foxworth. They moved to the United States in 1984, where she proudly became a naturalized citizen under the St. Louis Arch. Delia and Chris set down roots in Broken Arrow to raise their children and deepen their walk with Christ. She found a career in electronics assembly, spending 30 years as a respected colleague at Ducommun (formerly Labarge Electronics).
Delia enjoyed traveling with her husband, spending time with her close friends, “The Purple Ladies,” fellowship with her church community, and spoiling her grandchildren, Selah Sophia, Siro IV, and Camila Haven. Being next to the water or at the beach brought her peace and happiness. She loved her garden, shopping, and finding delicious recipes to share.
Delia leaves her loved ones with unforgettable memories and beautiful stories of her faith, kindness, and generosity. She will be sincerely missed by her loving family, devoted friends, and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved her.
