We were Della and Mark’s neighbors (years ago)and fell in love with both of them. We are so sorry to hear about Della’s passing. She had a love and passion for people, animals and nature.
Going to miss you for an awfully long time lady! After almost getting to our 50th anniversary of being friends it just ain’t gonna be the same world. You touched a lot of folks in your life. I’m so lucky to have had you in mine! They broke the mold, and no reason to make another…because there will never be space for a duplicate. Thanks for the memories!!!
Della you will be missed. Thankful to have gotten to know you friend :). Prayers for your family.
Prayers for peace and comfort. Love you, Brandy
Oh Della you have been on my mind lately. So many memories over so many lifetimes. Dance on girl.
What an inspiring, empowering presence you have been to me and countless others. You consistently made me want to be a better everything—counselor, friend, woman, and person in recovery—since we met. Peace be with you, Della…thank you for the inspiration, knowledge, support, honesty, and affirmation. ??
Dear Sweet Della…you were a bright light in every life you touched. We met as children and spent many a 4th of July sitting on your parents roof watching the fireworks at Southern Hills. Even though we lost touch after High School, we were blessed to have reconnected as adults later in life. You became a part of our group of women that graduated from Memorial High School in 1967 and have dinner every month to try and sort out the world’s problems. You fondly named our group “The Tribe.” I will miss seeing and talking with you Girlfriend. The “Tribe” will be at your Memorial to give you a fond farewell. Much Love, Jeannie
Mzzz. D., you were a pivotal influence in my life when we worked together and great friend in later years. Would not be the community minister I am today were it not for your guidance and wisdom. I will always treasure cutting loose & dancing to Van Morrison at TVH office.Godspeed Dobber. Time to take it easy. Rest well.
