Delores Ann Barnett, age 66, passed from this life on Saturday, January 10, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on May 5, 1959, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, to Oleta Joyce (Collins) Blair.
Delores lived life with unmistakable energy and joy. She was the life of the party — bold, adventurous, and never afraid to try something new. A true daredevil at heart, she especially loved amusement parks and the thrill of a good ride. Her enthusiasm was contagious, and she brought laughter and excitement wherever she went. Delores had a laugh that could be heard from miles away. She never met a stranger; she welcomed everyone with open arms and had a remarkable way of making people feel instantly at home.
She was the proud mother of five sons, a role she cherished deeply. Family was her anchor, and she poured her heart into loving and supporting them. Delores also built a life defined by hard work and independence, owning both a cleaning business and a dog‑sitting service. She built many decade-long relationships with her clients, which many of them became family to her. Her dedication, warmth, and lively spirit touched everyone who knew her. Above all, Delores loved her family fiercely. Her vibrant personality, boundless energy, and generous heart will be remembered always.
She is preceded in death by her mother Oleta Joyce (Collins) Blair. Left to cherish her memory are her sons Josh Baker and his wife Danielle, Jonathan Baker and his wife Jennifer, Tre Barnett, Anthony Barnett, and Elijah Barnett; eight grandchildren who she loved deeply Josh, Elle, Hunter, Brooklyn, Jaxon, Emma, Mason, and Raven; sisters Billie Lunsford and Rhonda Evans; brothers Alan Bowman and Roger Bowman; and numerous other family members and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.
