Delores Benson's Obituary
Delores Christine Benson was born on November 19, 1937 and passed away on August 5, 2017 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.Delores was a fun-spirited woman who loved dancing, spending an evening at the casino, and playing Skipbo. She had a soft spot for her family and adored playing and visiting with the great grandchildren.She is preceded in death by her parents Ethel and Ray Lowther; brothers Edward, Roy, Preston, and Richard Lowther; her first husband, Bill Derryberry; and her second husband, Ronald Benson. Delores is survived by her loving daughter, Kathy Pingleton; grandsons Brian and Dustin Pingleton; sister Wanda Sumner; brothers Ronnie and Watt (Butch) Lowther; great grandchildren Nya Pingleton, Ayden Pingleton; Kira Pingleton; Riana Pingleton; Elijah Pingleton, and Collin Pingleton; and several nieces and nephews.A memorial service will be held in her honor on at 10 am on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.
