Delores Turinetti's Obituary
Delores Jean Turinetti (Thrasher) of Tulsa , Oklahoma passed away peacefully Monday,
September 4, 2023 at her home in Tulsa at the age of 83. She was born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma on
April 9, 1940 to Marie and Frank Thrasher.
Delores, or Dee and sometimes Jean, was a homemaker and mother of five. She enjoyed singing
harmony with her family, visiting, listening and encouraging others.She couldn’t resist a newborn baby
or a kitten. Her generosity and humility of spirit were matched only by her wit and imagination. Her
many virtues live on in her children and she was proud of them and her grandchildren. Her meatloaf,
fried chicken and chocolate pie live on along with her favorite songs and sayings.
Delores was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 60 years Kenneth L Turinetti, Great
granddaughter, Melody Jaye Priest, her parents, Marie and Frank Thrasher, her brother, Ed Thrasher,
half brother Robert Atha and half sister LaVay Miller. Delores is survived by her children Shandi Ward
of Pond Creek, Vicki Wilkerson of Tulsa, Michael Turinetti of Belton Missouri, Kelli Morgan of Tulsa,
Tracy Turinetti of Tulsa and her cat Clori Marie, also of Tulsa, She is also survived by 12
grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. Graveside service will be held
Saturday, September 9 at 10 o’clock at Floral Haven Cemetery.
