Deloris Gay Ball's Obituary
Deloris Gay Ball, age 80, passed away and entered eternal rest on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, in Claremore, Oklahoma. Born on December 25, 1943, in Neosho, Missouri, to Earl Don Starr and Ruth Ramona Ball, Deloris was one of nine children and cherished the joys and challenges of being a middle child.
Raised in the heart of southwest Missouri, Deloris always held a deep affection for her hometown. On November 24, 1962, she married the love of her life, Ronald Ball. Together, they built a beautiful legacy of love and family, welcoming two sons into their lives.
Deloris found great joy in being a scout leader for her sons and grandchildren, a role she embraced with enthusiasm and dedication. Her commitment to her family was unwavering, and she was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. During Deloris’s working years, she was cherished and flourished in the real estate industry.
Deloris was an extraordinary woman who touched many lives with her kindness and generosity. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her sons Ron and his wife Gladys, and Scott and his wife Kay; grandchildren Kaleb, Tristen, Madison, Britney, Brooklyn, Sara, Carrie, Donald John, and Rose; great grandchild Joseph; nieces Kim and her husband Brent, and Gail; nephews Kevin and his wife Jolene, Joe, and George; along with other family members and friends who will forever cherish their memories.
A visitation will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024 from 4PM till 7PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will follow on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 3PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel. Deloris will be laid to rest and reunited with her beloved husband at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens in the Garden of St. Paul.
