Joan Carlton-Brantley
Dearest Demetria, When I first met you I remember how you would say that you loved all the things that we had in common, our love for Jesus, for Emmett, for family, friends and memories. Our good fashion sense! You told some of the best stories and jokes, it made you smile to see us all laughing together. Thank you for all that you did in your life and for sharing so much of it with me. I am so blessed by the way you raised your son, he's smart, respectful, kind and caring and you taught him those things. I love you and I'm so glad I got to tell you that and hear you say it to me before you left us to be in heaven. I promise to do my best to take care of your family while your gone and hope that you will be there at the gates for us when we get there. I miss you, Mom. Love Joan
