I just today discovered that Dennis passed away over 3 years ago. Denny, as I know him when I was much younger, was a close friend whom I knew at church in our Youth group and also at Shortridge High School in Indianapolis where Denny was a year ahead of me. He was class president of the 1962 class of graduates. In our Youth group, we enjoyed his piano playing and we nicknamed him "Deacon" as we knew the field of study he was to pursue. From reading remarks on this page, it's wonderful to read that he had such a positive impact through service with many in the Tulsa area. I am sorry to learn of his passing so many years thereafter. I offer sincere condolences to Rita.

Dennis sat with us for the last few months of Prophecy Class at St. James United Methodist Church, Tulsa. He used his "culinary" skills to prepare some delicious green
bean casserole, for which he became known!! He was kind, generous and devoted
to his Lord Jesus Christ. We will miss him, but know he is rejoicing in heaven with
his beloved Rita.

I am so sorry for your loss.

I knew Dennis and Rita from his volunteering as a docent at the Sherwin Miller Museum of Jewish Art. I enjoyed visiting and interacting with them at Museum events and Jewish community events.

My condolences to your family. Dennis and Rita actively engaged in making the world a better place.
