Dennis Harold Kendrick's Obituary
Dennis Harold Kendrick, 77, of Tulsa, passed away Aug 23rd, 2020 at Saint Francis Hospital. He was born March 15, 1943 in Mount Clemons, Michigan to Harold and Eleanore Kendrick. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents. Dennis is survived by his wife, of 57 years, JoAnn of the home; son Scott Allen Kendrick, of Virginia Beach and daughter Jolynn Denise Harges of Broken Arrow; 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; he is also survived by his sister Beverly Bronson, Donna Knowlton, Lois Lendzion, Richard Kendrick, Linda Educate all residing in Michigan.
Dennis entered the Air Force in 1961 as a A1C Radar Crypto technician. He served for 8 years and achieved the final rank of SSGT. It was mentioned that a General had offered him a full ride thru OCS, but he turned him down to marry the love of his life, JoAnn.
Dennis loved complex and challenging problems, which included several puzzles. There was never a task he could over come once his mind was set upon it.
There is one thing everyone knew about him was that he wrote his own rules and paved his own way. If you said he could not do it, he would make sure he could.
Services will be held on Thursday, August 27 at 3pm in the Floral Haven Chapel.
Visitation will be on Friday, August 28 from 9 am - 5 pm at Floral Haven Funeral Home.
