Dennis Little's Obituary
Dennis LeRoy Little, 62 of Glenpool, OK passed from this life on Sunday, March 19, 2023. Dennis was born on Flag Day June 14, 1960 in Oakland, CA Naval Hospital to Alfred (Lt Cdr-Ret) and Nancy Little (Clark). Dennis grew up in Campbell with his parents, younger sister and brother. He was raised in the church and gave his heart to the Lord at age five. Dennis met the love of his life Debra Viola Bonetti at church in Santa Cruz and married on August 1, 1987, in Aptos, CA. The two believed God brought them together to become a household of faith and raise up a godly generation with their three children. They did everything as a family and would go on to share wonderful memories and live life to the fullest in the Lord. They felt led to settle and make their home in Oklahoma in 1995. They celebrated 35 years of marriage as each other’s “Honey Pies!”
If you knew Dennis, he was an avid Believer in Yeshua Messiah and put God first above anything else. Secondly, he was a family man; he loved his wife, children, grandchildren more than anything in the world. His love and dedication towards his family will never go unnoticed. Although he obtained a degree in electronics and worked in that field for 15 years, he truly enjoyed being a school bus driver these last 20+ years. He was a very loyal and faithful employee. He leaves behind a legacy for everyone to remember.
Dennis’ passions in life included reading, studying and meditating the Bible, as well as sharing with anyone who would listen. He enjoyed history, playing games, collecting old trains, school buses, books, classical music, maps, and cars. Dennis could play the piano, pipe organ and recorder by ear. He loved kittens and taking his grandkids to the zoo, parks, camping, watching movies, and teaching at every opportunity. When Dennis had a chance to explore, he would take it and call it, “An Uncle Wiggly Adventure!” just to get off the beaten path. Living life was a big part of who he was. A man of integrity and full of humor. Surely, he just wants a bit-bit, but don’t call him Shirley without fail! He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Dennis was preceded by his Grandparents, Father-in-law, Mother-in-law, and Brother-in-law. He was survived by his wife Debbie Little, Children: Benjamin Little; Hannah Timmons, spouse Cody; Christopher Little, spouse Harmony, 6 Grandchildren: Zoey, Alanna, Nehemiah, Aurora, Olivia and Levi. Sister: Valerie Soto, spouse Albert. Brother: Kevin Little, spouse Carol. Brother-in-law: Thomas Bonetti, spouse Sarah. Sister-in-law: Cathy Redfearn, spouse John.
