Devian Lee Flores' Obituary
Devian Lee Flores was born December 9, 1958 in Roswell, New Mexico. He departed this life on April 8, 2015 at the age of 56 in Tulsa. Devian attended Broken Arrow High School then joined the United Stated Army in 1977. He was a Paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division. He was honorably discharged in 1980 but continued in the Army Reserves until 1983. Devian worked for Tulsa World Media in downtown Tulsa for over 30 years, recently promoted to Pressroom Manager. Devian loved spending time with his sons. He enjoyed fishing, golf, woodworking and OU football. He touched the lives of many. Devian was preceded in death by his father, Donald Ramon Flores. He is survived by his sons, Dustin and Mason Flores; his mother, Fern (Weese) Jackson; his four brothers, Donald Flores and wife Shannon, Charles Flores and wife Fonda, Louis Flores and wife Patricia and Lawrence Jackson; along with numerous other family members and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Floral Haven Chapel, 6500 S 129th E Ave, Broken Arrow, OK 74012; 918-252-2518.
