Dewayne Lee Foshee, born on October 11, 1970, passed away on March 20, 2024.
He is survived by his loving wife, Susan Foshee, and a large, loving family including Shannon and Adam Kirk, Kaleb and Brittany, Laurie and Dustin Honeycutt, KK, Taylynn, Audry and Tyson, Stephanie and Michael Stevens, Kali, Haley, Isaac, Zack Delk and Amy Dawson, Cindy and Cody Mix, Courtney and Doug Hall, Ryan Hall, Ella Foshee, Brittany Cochran, Tyler Cochran, Jade Jordan, Cody Jordan, Ivery Jordan and Donnie Jordan.
Dewayne dedicated six years of his career to Becco Construction, around 5 years to Trulite and one year to PTI Transport. He had an immense passion for everything related to Oklahoma University. Whether it was cheering for his favorite team, yelling "Boomer Sooner," or experiencing the thrill of watching an OU football game from the box, Dewayne's love for Crimson and Cream was unparalleled.
Beyond his professional and sports interests, Dewayne cherished moments spent fishing and driving his beloved truck, despite his occasionally adventurous driving style. He had a notorious sweet tooth and a knack for grilling, often experimenting with new recipes, even if his family wasn't always prepared for the culinary surprises.
Above all, Dewayne's heart belonged to his family, especially his cherished grandchildren. His unwavering love and support for them, alongside his passion for OU, defined his character as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Dewayne Lee Foshee will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
