Kennedy, Diana's Obituary
Diana Carol Kennedy, age 80, of Vinita, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2025. She was born on December 29, 1944, in Bakersfield, California, to Amelia (Pippi) Gianettoni and Ulysses Walter Gianettoni.
Diana married the love of her life, Charles Kennedy, on December 12, 1992, in Bakersfield, California. Together, they shared many wonderful years filled with laughter, adventure, and the simple joys of life—especially long drives with their beloved dog, Sammy.
A dedicated and hardworking woman, Diana was self-employed and proudly owned and operated Kennedy’s Quality Cars with her husband, where she built lasting memories with him and relationships with customers and friends before her well-earned retirement.
Diana was a woman of great humor and quick wit who cherished a good joke and never missed the opportunity to share a laugh. She enjoyed country western concerts, antiques, and spending time camping and fishing with her family. Her strong Catholic faith was a guiding presence throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, her other half to whom she never wanted be separated from, Charles Kennedy, her brother Ronald “Ronnie” Gianettoni and stepson Ty Ray Kennedy.
Diana is survived by her daughter, Cara Paulk, and husband Ron K. Paulk, and their children Brandon Wyatt VanTassel and Ronee Kae Paulk; her sister, Gloria Gianettoni; her step-daughter, Sherry Lynn Marmolejo, and husband Lonnie, along with their children Tony Tudor, Albert Marmolejo, Matthew Marmolejo and Marisa Swift; and her step-granddaughter, Michelle Kennedy. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly, as well as close friends.
Diana will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, sense of humor, and the warmth she brought to every room. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know and love her.
