Diane Gold's Obituary
Diane Gold, 73, of Tulsa, OK died Saturday morning, August 4, 2012 at Hillcrest. She was born May 1, 1939 in Winters, TX to Tina Robertson and Bernard Gold. She married Jerry Scallan on July 20, 1961 in Irving, TX and in 1963 they moved to Tulsa. Diane worked for Tulsa Public Schools as a school bus driver for over 25 years and she especially enjoyed serving children with special needs. She is survived by her mother Tina Chiappetta and her husband Enrico of Las Vegas, NV; daughters Michele Kruse of Tulsa, OK and Monica DeBolt and her husband Kevin of Jenks, OK; and grandchildren Alyssa Whaley and her husband 1LT Paul Whaley II of Cameron, NC, Ericka Kruse of Norman, OK, Kassie, Kyle and Lucas DeBolt of Jenks, OK; and brothers Allen Gold of Dallas, TX and Richard Gold of New Braunsville, TX. Diane had a love for animals and enjoyed her friends and Sooner football. She will be missed by her family and friends. Her Scriptural Rosary will be at Floral Haven in Broken Arrow on Monday, August 6, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. Memorial Mass will be held at St Pius Catholic Church located at 1727 S 75th E Ave, Tulsa, OK 74112 at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 7, 2012. Interment will follow at Floral Haven. Donations may be made in Diane Gold's name to the Tulsa SPCA or The Little Light House.
