Dolores Ann Brockhoff's Obituary
Dolores “Dodee” Brockhoff, a resident of Bixby, passed away November 9, 2018 at the age of 88. She was born December 6, 1929 to Paul and Marie Seehausen.Dodee was an organist, choir director and a Sunday school teacher at the Christ the Redeemer Lutheran Church. She was a member of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) and the Church’s Dorcas and Rebecca groups. In the 1950’s and ‘60’s she sang in several Tulsa Opera productions and in the All Tulsa Lutheran Handel’s Messiah Presentations. She enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening in her yard. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.She was preceded by her husband, The Rev. Harold E L Brockhoff of Bixby, Oklahomafather, father, Paul F Seehausen of Whiting, Indiana; mother, Marie (Horlbeck) Seehausen of Whiting Indiana; sister, Marlene (Seehausen) Georgas of Bloomington, Indiana and granddaughter, Debra Marie Rainey of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.Survivors include her daughters, Deborah Rainey of Broken Arrow, OK, Kathleen Brockhoff of Ponca City, OK and Rebecca Harris, of Tulsa, OK; sons,John Brockhoff of Tulsa, Ok and The Rev. Dr. David Brockhoff of Spring Hill, FL; grandchildren, Jessica Rainey of Tulsa, Ok, Bethany Brockhoff, Emily Brockhoff and Rachel Brockhoff of Spring Hill, FL; Rachel (Harris Seaman) Roberts of Palo Alto, CA; great grandchild, Joseph (Joey) Martin Roberts of Palo Alto, CA; niece, Becky Nelson of Glen Ellyn, IL.Viewing will be held Friday, November 16th from 6 pm to 8 pm at Floral Haven Funeral Home in Broken Arrow.Services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, November 17th at the Christ the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Tulsa.
