Don Gordon Crowell's Obituary
Don Gordon Crowell was born May 20, 1934 to Elmer and Opal Crowell. He left this earth on February 12, 2014. He served in the United States Air Force from Jan 17/1955 to Nov 16/1958 and was a Radar Controller on a B36 Peacemaker which at that time was the largest and highest flying bomber. He married Evelyn Irene Daily February 3, 1957 and had three children Tammy Lee, Don Richard, and Kirk Gordon. He lost his beloved Evelyn early in life and later married Marlene Cearley. He worked many jobs, one of which he was most proud of was manager of Anthony’s Department Store where he was trained under CR Anthony himself. He was an avid fisherman and hunter in his younger years. He and his brother Pete loved to duck hunt on the Cleveland Lake. His greatest joy in his life was family, especially his two grandsons Brandon & Kevin and great-granddaughter, Jennaleigh. He always looked forward to the holidays when the family gathered together. He is survived by 1 daughter, Tammy Lee of Bristow, 2 sons, Rick & Dolly Crowell of Bristow, Kirk & Diana Crowell of Salina, 2 grandsons Brandon & Kevin Crowell of Salina, 1 great-granddaughter Jennaleigh Crowell of Salina, and 1 sister Gloria Sadoris of Clinton, MO. May he rest eternally in Heaven with his beloved Evelyn.
