Roberta Christian. I had known Dona since we were very young schoolmates. We lived 1 block apart and were majorettes and band members and friends. I lost track of her the years she was raising her family but saw one another as coworkers at SFH and later when she worked for Floral Haven. I knew her as a wonderful person and devout Christian. I will always miss her beautiful face smiling .
My husband met Dona through International Commission and they have been on the same mission trip. I met Dona at our International Commission dinners. She was a very nice and caring lady. Glad to have known her.
Although I never had the privilege of meeting Dona in person, I grew to love her as she was the leader of the International Commission Wednesday prayer team for several years. I never heard her complain, only praise and thank thenLord for her blessings. She always shared words of encouragement from Scripture, and she knew how to love people and pray for them. Dona, I miss you but know you have finally met the Lord face to face and because of that, I would not wish you back.
