Donald E. Bell's Obituary
Donald Eugene (Don) Bell passed from this earth on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at the age of 88 in Tulsa, Oklahoma due to complications from COPD or Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.Don was born on December 21, 1925 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to James Presley Bell and Mary Frances (Mollie) Judge. Don had 10 siblings, five brothers and five sisters, of which he was the youngest.After High School, he entered the Navy at the age of 17. Don served his country with pride and was honorably discharged on his birthday in 1946.Don married Mary Ann Goller on November 25, 1947 in Whittier, California. Don and Ann had three sons. Don made a career first of copy machine sales and then Selling Real Estate in the Tulsa area where he worked most recently for McGraw Realtors and Keller Williams Realty. Don achieved the distinguished “REALTOR 30 Year Member” award.Don is predeceased in death by his parents, all of his Brothers and Sisters and one Great Grandchild.Survived by wife, Mary Ann Bell, of Tulsa, son Donald Stephen (Steve) Bell and wife Kacy of Tulsa, son David Alan Bell of Tulsa and son Dale Robert Bell of Burleson, Texas. Four Grandchildren; Shannon Hollahan and husband Myke and four Great Grandchildren of Manitowoc, Wisconsin; Brandon Michael Bell of Tulsa; Morgan TyRay Swaffar and wife Jessica and three Great Grandchildren; and Chelsea Meek and husband Justin and two Great Grandchildren.Viewing will be on Monday October 20, 2014 from 4:00 – 7:00 and Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at 12:30 at Floral Haven Chapel, 6500 S. 129th E Ave. Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
