Being a veteran myself, I was greatly moved by the tribute displayed by the Patriot Guard Riders during dads funeral. To witness such as a final act on behalf of a war vet is truly a privilege and honor. Thanks so much
February 27th will forever mark a day of tremendous loss for me personally. Most would consider Don Brown as my step father, and even though I do not carry his last name I consider him my dad. Without his influence in my life over the past 33 years I'm quit sure I'd be a much different person today. His kind gentle manner and willingness to listen and understand the other side of a situation provided a unique perspective that has served me well in my adult life. Know that I will miss you greatly dad but that I'm also over joyed that you are no longer suffering in this life. I can only hope and work to aspire to reach those same character traits you possessed on the day that I come to press my dyeing pillow. Farewell DAD we love you and I'll see you on the other side.

We loved coming back to Jenks, for visits, always staying with Uncle Don and Aunt Evelyn. They would meet us with warm smiles, a place to sleep and meals when needed. I will always remember Uncle Don with a big smile on his face.
