Donald Clay Bunch's Obituary
It is with deeply heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donald Clay Bunch. Known lovingly as “Don” to family and friends, he was born on January 19, 1937, in Wichita, Kansas, and departed this world in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on October 28, 2024, at the age of 87, with his beloved family by his side.
A true adventurer, Don found his greatest joys on the open road, often on the back of his Harley Davidson. His love for motorcycles embodied his free spirit and love for exploration, and he brought that same vibrant energy into every aspect of his life. Don’s kindness, strength, and warmth left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
In 1956, Don married his best friend and the absolute love of his life, Janice (Stephens) Bunch, and together they built a life grounded in love, family, and faith. Their union blessed them with three children: daughter Sandy Beam (Steve), son Brad Bunch (Christy), and son Chuck Bunch (Lisa). Don’s legacy is carried on by eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and eleven bonus grandchildren. He was a dedicated family man who found immense joy in watching his family grow and thrive.
Don is preceded in death by his parents, Clay, and Gladys (McCollough) Bunch, and his two brothers, Loy and Ewell Bunch. He leaves behind two beloved sisters, Pauline Langford, and Fern Kerr, who will forever cherish his memory.
