Donald "Don" Lee's Obituary
Donald Ray Lee, 81, of Mounds Oklahoma passed away suddenly at St Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on July 11, 2022. He was born on October 10, 1940 in Mounds to Johnnie and Edna Lee.
Don was a retired Deputy Sheriff of 17 years for Tulsa County and a retired stationary engineer at American Airlines.
He was also a United States Army Veteran.
Don loved to work and enjoy the outdoors. He was an excellent marksman and could be found quite often practicing at his shooting range and listening to Alan Jackson.
Don was preceded in death by his parents; his son Steve and his stepson John Bolander.
Don is survived by his wife of 18 years Kathy of the home, brother Ed Lee and wife Rita of Beggs, OK, son Rick Lee and wife Ruby of Virginia, step-daughter Sheila Smith and husband David of Wellston, OK, 8 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild, along with many friends and loved ones.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 21, 2022 from 5-7 PM
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 22, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home in Broken Arrow, OK with interment to follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens
