Donald Thomas Pike's Obituary
Donald Thomas Pike passed from this life on Thursday, September 15, 2022, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born September 14, 1936, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Jasper “Jack” Greeley and Hermys Edith (McLemore) Pike.
Don graduated Tulsa Central High School in 1954. He joined the Army in May 1955 where he spent time in Germany. Don left the service in 1957. He married Beverly Engel February 14th, 1958. He and Beverly volunteered at The Center for the Physically Limited and were active in the Northeastern Oklahoma Square Dance Association where they served as President for a time. After Beverly passed in 1991, Don joined the Tulsa Bicycle Club where he was active for many years serving as Membership Chairman and volunteered for the Fall Century charity ride.
He worked with Oklahoma Freewheel from 1998 to 2013, functioning as a member of the Board of Directors for a time, as well as regularly marking the bike route.
Don worked for Ross Martin Company most of his working life where he met his second wife, Barbara. They married June 16, 1997 in Las Vegas, Nevada. With that union, he acquired two sons, Craig and Kent. Don and Barbara continued to be very active in the Tulsa Bicycle Club for the many years that his health permitted.
Don loved to travel, ride his bicycle, and spend time with family and friends. He enjoyed researching genealogy, decorating his yard and home for Christmas and was an avid stamp collector.
He was preceded in death by his mother, father and brother, Bob, and his first wife, Beverly. He is survived by his wife, Barbara, sister, Janice (John) Mayhan, stepsons, Craig (Dianna) and Kent Coats, Godchildren Chad and Kristin Engel, 4 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and numerous sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Thursday, September 22, 2022, at Floral Haven Funeral Home.
