Donald R. Tanner's Obituary
Donald Ray Tanner was born October 29, 1924 in Newtonia, Missouri and passed away March 10, 2017 in Claremore, Oklahoma. Donald was one of twelve children born to Ora and Bertha Tanner. He was a friendly outgoing person and loved talking and sharing the gospel with everyone he could. He faithful Christian and loved his time serving as an Elder in his church. Donald enjoyed his time traveling, fishing and he especially loved golfing. He was extremely proud of his military service with the Navy. Donald will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved him. Donald is preceded in passing by his parents, Ora and Bertha Tanner; his first spouse, Peggy Tanner, 8 sisters and 3 brothers. Donald is survived by his spouse, Esther Tanner, his sons, Richard Tanner and his wife Karen, Randall Tanner and his wife Mary; grandchildren, Abigail and Andrew Tanner; extended family, Tamra Smith, Ronald Gordineer, Tiffany Johnson and her husband Matthew, Emi, Bennett, Solomon and numerous other family members and friends. There will be a visitation, Monday, March 13, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. at Floral Haven Funeral Home Funeral Service will be Tuesday, march 14, 2017 at 12:30 p.m. at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel
