Donald Fay Vickrey, 69, passed from this life on May 27, 2012 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Donald was born on January 15, 1943 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to James and Fannie (Turnbo) Vickrey. Donald met and married Hedwig “Heidi” Tiefel on May 10, 1963 in Germany. They shared 49 memorable years together. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Vickrey; parents; brothers, Jerry Paul Vickrey and James Vickrey. Donald is survived by his loving wife, Hedwig “Heidi” Vickrey; four children, Angelica Rick and husband, Allen, Judith Sowers, Donna Vickrey, and Teresa Lovett and husband, Brice; nine grandchildren, Eric Rick, Stacy Rick, Jessica Sowers, Justin Sowers, Jeremy Sowers, Jamie Sowers, Jennifer Dickey, Tayler Lovett and Tyler Lovett; five great grandchildren, Christian, Ashton, Aaron, Gunner, and Camden; and twin brother, Ronald Ray Vickrey. Visitation will be 12:00-9:00 pm Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Floral Haven Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Friday, June1, 2012 at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
