Donazel Meyer's Obituary
Donazel Meyer, 83 of Plano, Texas, formerly of Sand Springs, Oklahoma passed from this life on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 in Texas. She was born December 9, 1937 in Enid, Oklahoma to her parents, Donald Charles Bowman and Hazel L. Hawkins Bowman. She married the love of her life, Kenneth L. Meyer on May 29, 1959 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and they shared in over 44 wonderful years together before his passing in 2004. Donazel graduated from University of Tulsa in 1960 with a Bachelor in Music Education and followed her passion for teaching music, band, and orchestra in Tulsa County for nearly 15 years.
Donazel is survived by her daughter, Debbie Meyer of Plano, Texas; her granddaughter, Natalie Meyer of Plano, Texas and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, Garden of Good Shepherd.
