Donna Sue Lowry's Obituary
Donna Sue (Manning) Lowry ended her earthly journey on October 22, 2024 in Tulsa Oklahoma. Donna’s journey began in Stillwater, Oklahoma, where she graduated from Stillwater High School and attended Oklahoma State University.
In 1971 her journey took her to Tulsa, which became her forever home. She became an operator at Answering Tulsa and was later promoted to manager. In 1981 she married Charles E. (Todd) Lowry, with whom she shared a son. After a few years as a homemaker, she re-entered the workforce, working for Oklahoma State Extension, Tulsa. After retirement she became an active member of Red Hats and Tops where she made many lifelong friends.
Donna is survived by their son Brady (Michelle) Lowry of Dallas, TX, sisters Shelly Anaya (Ted) Kniering, and Sharon (Leon) Boyer, of Stillwater, grandsons Grayson and Charlie, nieces Lisa, Lana, and Libby, nephews Greg and Alex, and her “other sister” Joyce (David) Malavenda of Fort Myers, FL. She is also survived by great nieces and nephews and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband Todd Lowry, her parents Marie and William (Bill) Manning and brother in-law Charles Anaya.
Graveside service will be held on November 18th at 2pm at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
