Doris "Eileen" Dershimer's Obituary
Doris “Eileen” Dershimer, beloved cousin and friend; born Sunday, November 6, 1927 in Beaver County, Pennsylvania to her loving parents, Harold & Thelma Dershimer. Went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 27, 2017 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Doris or better known as “Eileen” by her family and friends, moved to Tulsa when she was eight years old; Eileen enjoyed many things in her free time such as playing cards, crocheting blankets, traveling and attending mass. What Eileen truly passionate about was the time she shared with her family and friends that she loved so dearly. Fond memories will always be cherished of the countless birthdays and holiday events with her many nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by all those who had their lives touched by her. Eileen is preceded in death by her loving parents, Harold & Thelma Dershimer; her two dearly loved brothers, Harold Dershimer Jr. and Keith “Sonny” Dershimer. Eileen is survived by her eight loving cousins and numerous loving nieces, nephews and friends. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2017 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM with a rosary at 6:00PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home in the Chapel. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, June 2, 2017 at 10:00AM at St. Thomas More Catholic Church with a graveside service to follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens at 11:30AM on Friday, June 2, 2017.
