Doris Lee Richey, 87, of Sand Springs, was a devoted wife of Sam Richey, Jr. and loving mother of Sam Richey III went to be with her heavenly father Sunday June 6th, 2010. Doris was born November 7th, 1922 in Lawrenceville, IL. Survived by: her husband of 62 years of marriage, her son and daughter-in-law Paula Richey, two granddaughters, Mandy Richey and Michelle Richey, of Tulsa, Katie Harbison and her sister, Dorothy Favole of NY. Preceded her in death: father, Clifton Parks, and mother, Alice Parks (Westall), three brothers: Vernon, Victor, and Kenneth Parks. Doris was a wonderful housewife; beautician; worked as an aircraft assembler during World War II and later a real estate agent. She was a member of St. Patrick Church. Visitation and services at Floral Haven 252-2518, open visitation Tuesday, June 8, 12:00pm-9:00pm, services will be in the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, June 9, 12:30 pm.Survived By: her husband of 62 years of marriage, her son and daughter-in-law Paula Richey, two granddaughters, Mandy Richey and Michelle Richey, of Tulsa, Katie Harbison and her sister, Dorothy Favole of NY.
