Doris Rose's Obituary
Doris Pauline Rose, 90, of Tulsa, Oklahoma went to be with her Lord, on Sunday 25, 2016. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM, on Wednesday, December 28, 2016, at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Doris was born on October 16, 1926, in Tulsa, the daughter of James and Bessie (Lawrence) Godbold. On December 25, 1947, she married her husband, Donald Rose, in Tulsa. Doris is survived by her son, Larry Rose, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, grandsons, Jacob Don Rose, and Micah Paul Rose, three great-grandchildren, and numerous other family members, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, and two brothers, Ellis and J.D. Godbold. Memorial donations may be made in Doris’ name to the John 3:16 Mission, 506 N. Cheyenne Ave., Tulsa, OK 74103 or to the Salvation Army.
